1. What was your biggest take-away from the training at IIT? Response. A good academic training, bunch of life time friends and the confidence! Especially, an early exposure to the ability to finish tasks with stringent and short time-line; anecdotally, how to pass quizzes and mid/end semester exams with a day of mugging (IITM lingo for intense nervous study time).

1. What was your biggest take-away from the training at IIT? Response. Self-belief and the confidence to face new challenges are my biggest take away from IIT. Apart from this meeting new people, working as a team and completing the tasks within deadline are other important virtues which I feel everyone picks up during their stay at IIT. 2. What is your dream? What do you want to be in 15-20 years from now? Response. My dream is to relax, enjoy and stay happy in life always and make my parents proud. I do not have a long term plan set out in front of me yet but I am enjoying my work at the moment and am looking forward to continue in the field of Computer Science for next 4-5 years at least.

For this week's interview as part of the series 'Know a Member' we have Mr. Manish Agrawal. Please continue reading below to know what he has to say.
1. What was your biggest take-away from the training at IIT? Response: It’s been said by one of my professor of IIT that Graduates are Products of IITs, Post graduates are By-products of IITs and Doctorates who further produces, Products (Graduate students) are so called Slurries of IITs that possess immense experience. In my personal life, I was not as fortunate as other members who might have found their love in their alma matter. However, professionally, in general, during my PhD career, I learned that if you want water to rest your thirst, then, you need to dig 50 feet in one place rather then, 1 foot in 50 places. So, for me the biggest take away from the training at IIT as a Doctoral student is to learn and realize that to achieve something in the life one has to be honest, consistently hard working, patient, possess self-belief and deep hope.

For this week's interview as part of the series 'Know a Member' we have Mr. Adiki Madhu Babu. Please continue reading below to know what he has to say.
1. What was your biggest take-away from the training at IIT? Ans. I was always confident of my abilities but IIT taught me to believe in the people around me. They implicitly end up influencing me so much that I was eventually moulded by their thoughts and actions. So I feel we need to surround ourselves with the right kind of people and I was definitely lucky to have found my set of friends back then at IIT. 2. What is your dream? What do you want to be in 15-20 years from now? Ans. I don't have a dream as of now. My dream is to have a dream.

This was fostered by living in intellectually stimulating and challenging environment for years at IIT Kanpur. 2. Unlike most graduates who head outside India post IIT, you chose to stay back. What influenced you to take that decision? Ans. I decided to work for the Government of India and became a civil servant, so the choice was natural for me.
