ESCAPE ROOM NO. 1
24th March, 2018
24th March, 2018
The year kicked off with an inquisitive mood with members having their detective hats on. Everyone gathered in the bustling Ingye-dong on Saturday evening with their family and friends. Members were divided into 5 teams, some ready to escape out of a horror house while some eager to come out rich off a goldmine while some on an adventure to find the perfect recipe for the perfect dish.
The event began with felicitation of Aashna Anand, daughter of Mr Pradeep Anand, by our chairman Mr. Pankaj Agarwal. The young master mind got her paper accepted in the sixth international conference on ABBE. Congratulations and best wishes to her on behalf of the whole IITAAK community.

Overall 5 rooms were prepared namely Gold Mine, Others, Recipe, Report and Amistad. Each team had to come out of their rooms in a time interval of 1 hour. After getting acquainted with the rules and the unlocking techniques of the fascinating locks, team members were blind folded and escorted to their respective rooms.
Then began the hour of intense mental workout. The clues were scattered all over the room with secret doors leading to other hidden rooms. Some clues were hidden inside hollow books while some had to be extracted out by pressing specific keys on a piano. The team Amistad grabbed the first spot by finishing the game in 50 mins.
Everyone had a great time brainstorming with their team-mates, experiencing the thrill of deciphering a riddle and making new friends. Overall the event served its purpose by bringing people closer and having a fun and chilled out time together. Looking forward to seeing you all soon .....

Our hope with this DISC book is that relevant stakeholders here and back home will take some of the DISC ideas to build the India of tomorrow. Also, this book is just one of the examples of our service to the nation. If there are opportunities where our alumni association can be of any service, please do reach out. Thank you.
