26th July, 2015

Picture
IIT Alumni Association Korea (IIT AA-K) organized an Alumni Meetup of the members and their families in Hangang Park, Jamsil, Seoul on Sunday 26th of July. This meetup, second of its kind, was an opportunity for all new and existing members to meet and know each other. A networking and a fun event involving spouses and kids, around 35 people gathered to have a fun evening with games and yummy Indian food of Samosa, Biriyani and Nan-Curry.

Playing Housie, followed by Eland Han River Cruise starting from Jamil and all the way to the rainbow light and water show on Banpodaegyo with stunning views of the Seoul on both the sides, a fun photo session and networking among members marked the event.

Kanishak Kataria who lives in Suwon and works for Samsung Electronics commented that “it was a very nice opportunity to meet fellow alumni” and that “he enjoyed the river cruise.” Manish Agrawal who came all the way from Daejeon to attend this event said, “I have recently moved to Korea and it’s wonderful to meet and learn from other alumni who have been here longer and made it their home.”
